haul #91

Hi peeps!

I have a new haul video for you today! This time I am showing you the things I got from the Studio Calico Mega Mega Sale. As I was filming the video it was still available but I didn't get all of my things at once so I didn't want to show you until I had everything.

There also is a Part 1 so watch out for that! :)

These are the things Studio Calico resent!

You can check out the video on my YouTube channel PotsieFighter using this link, or you can simply watch it here on my blog.

Check out PART 1 using this link, or watch it here as well.

BREAK THE RULES MONDAY #5

Hi peeps!

Break the rules Monday is, where I take something that was not made for scrapbooking and make a layout with it!
I am posting a BTRM video every last Monday of the month!

For this months layout I am using mirror wall stickers!

You can watch the video here on my blog, or you can use this link to be redirected to my YouTube channel PotsieFighter.

Super fun & quick layout! I used Vanilla American Crafts Cardstock as my background and created a messy background using a few DIY mists and Heidi Swapp Color Shine mists. I matted my picture on white tissue paper.

I put a few random strips of washi on the right side of my page next to my picture. I adhered my title 'Hupf in gatsch' - my first time ever using a German title - on the picture and between the washi strips. I also adhered a few hearts and stickers around my title and picture.

I started adhereing my wall stickers on the bottom left corner and worked my way up to the picture in a honeycomb style and ended at the top right corner.

And that was my BTRM video for you today - I hope you love it as much as I do!

Thanks for joining me today, have a great day!

CARD PROCESS VIDEO #13

Hello peeps!

I am back today with another card process video for you! Today it is a Christmas card.

You can watch the video here on my blog, or you can use this link to be redirected to my YouTube channel PotsieFighter.

Another super fun card! I punched circles with my 1" circle punch from red and white cardstock.

Before I adhered anything down I took my Blending Tool from Ranger and my Candied Apple Distress Ink and distressed the edges of my cardbase. I stamped a 'Ho Ho Ho' sentiment on the front and created a candy cane with the circles on the front of my card.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside - I also stamped the sentiment on the flap of my envelope - and to give it a bit of extra detail I took my Royal & Langnickel watercolor paper and stamped a poinsettia from Scrapbook Werkstatt and colored it in with my Gansai Tambi watercolors. I fussy-cut it and adhered it next to the sentiment.

And that was my card for you today - I hope you like it!

Thank you for joining me today, have an amazing day!

PAPERBASICS DT PROJEKT #16 | Weihnachtskarte

A Plätzchen a day keeps the Weihnachtsstress away' gestempelt habe.

PAPERBASICS DT PROJECT #16 | Christmas card

Hi crafty peeps!

It’s Friday that means I have another DT project for Paperbasics for you today! This time I made a Christmas card for you.

You can watch the video on my YouTube channel PotsieFighter using this link, or you can simply watch it here on my blog.

I had so much fun creating this cute card, I tell you that much! I started off by stamping the angel and the fox - products used are linked down below - with my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloring them in using my TouchFive Markers. I used a gold glitter gel pen for the heart and the wings of the angel. I fussy-cut the images using my sewing scissors.

I cut down a 6x12 piece of the Vaessen Creative Cardstock in Broccoli and scored it at 6 inches to create my cardbase. I used a red paper from the A Perfect Christmas 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park and trimmed it down to 5.5x5.5 inches. I took another white piece of cardstock and sponged Distress Ink in Broken China with my Blending Tool by Ranger to create a fun background.

I used a wave die to create two snowbanks with this awesome shiny white piece of paper. I placed the fox in the snowbanks, stamped a sentiment and adhered the angel using 3D foam adhesive. Then I adhered all of the layers to the front of my card.

I trimmed down another 5.5x5.5 inch piece of white cardstock and distressed the edges with my Candied Apple Distress Ink and the Blending Tool. I used the same ink to stamp the face, but I did mask off the sentiment because I wanted to use another stamp. I used Lucky Clover Distress Ink to stamp the 'A Plätzchen a day keeps the Weihnachtsstress away' stamp and I also adhered 2 star gems. On the back of my card I used the Handmade stamp from Paperbasics.

And that finished off my card for today, I really like how it turned out - I hope you do too!
