I have a new 12x12" scrapbook layout for you today! I am participating in the Craft Bunker of Ignorance (CBOI) Blog Hop. You can find all of the links down below!
Since we are following along this sketch, I used two pictures. I backed them both with the same paper from the Moonchild collection from Studio Forty which I am absolutely in love with! Since I am using this collection, my color scheme will be blues, purples and a bit of teal.
Sketch by Irit Landgraf
Since there is a circle in the back of the sketch, I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors and the packagind technique to create that circle - mine kinda turned out oval but that's ok. I splattered some purple all over my layout to add more detail.
I added some fun foam to one of the pictures to raise it up and then I added a scrap piece of that gorgeous paper behind my pictures to mimic the paper layers.
Instead of the stars I decided to use dream catchers from the collection that I fussy cut from one of the papers. I scattered them all over my page, I also added some other circle stickers from the collection as well as word stickers and two transparent border stickers.
As a final touch I added my title with blue puffy alphas and then scattered some enamel dots in matching colors on my layout.
And that finished off my layout, I really love how it turned out - I hope you do too!
Break the rules Monday is, where I take something that was not made for scrapbooking and make a layout with it!
I am posting a BTRM video every last Monday of the month!
I used a baby blue pastel paper as my background and treated it with gesso. I used a butterly stamp from the Trimcraft Bohemian Wildlife stamp set and stamped it using my Gansai Tambi watercolors, I also added some splatters.
I matted my picture on a blue ombre paper since I wanted to keep it monochromatic and adhered it on my page. I removed the metal clips from my butterflies and adhered them on my page using tacky glue.
After that I added some journaling with my Uniball Signo pen in Silver and added a few tiny word stickers, an enamel heart and a Studio Calico label.
As my final embellishment I used white irridescent gems and sprinkled them between my butterflies to give it some extra sparkle and shine. And that was my BTRM layout for this month - I hope you like it!
I made these adorable shaker bookmarks and believe me, they are so easy to make! I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper, filled it with gemstones, sequins and glitter and fused them with my Fuse Tool, it's as simple as that!
I hope you like my bookmarks and my tutorial!
Thank you for joining me today, have an amazing day!

This was a very simple card to make. I used a scalloped craft cardbase and put a baby blue paper on it as my background. I used gold, blue and normal silver staples to create a cloud, a tree and the sun. I added gouache to create more depth. I fussy cut the imaged and adhered them on the card as well. I used the Technique Tuesday Hugs die as my sentiment and added a few white iridescent square sequins to finish it off.
And that was my card for today - I hope you like it!

Today I have four tag tutorials in this video as well as a gift wrapping part and a few general 'how I gift my gifts' type of video LOL. There is a lot of repackaging happening, which I am really into at the moment as well. If you have any questions please ask away! :)
So, as you probably guessed if you watched the video, the baby boy the gifts are for is called Frederick. His older sister is called Tamina, that's why there are also pink tags.
I am not going to explain the repackaging part because it is pretty self explanatory if you watch the video. But I am going to explain the tags in a bit more.
Starting with the shaker tag, I used the same die as for the other tags, but I also used the die that is one size smaller to cut a frame of the same paper as well as foam. I put the name as well as a ton of sequins in the frame and covered it with acetate and the top frame. I added bakers twine and ribbon in matching colors.
The tag with the hot air balloon was pretty easy. I used Memento DewDrop in Teal Zeal and Distress Ink in Broken China and sponged it on the tag. After it was completely dry I added some silver texture paste through a star stencil and let it dry again. Then I stamped on it and added matching twine and jute.
I really love how the bunny tag turned out. I used Memento DewDrop in Rose Bud and Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick and sponged it on the tag. Then I used the same silver paste but a heart stencil this time. I colored the bunny, it is from the Trimcraft Belle & Boo stamp set with my alcohol markers - list of markers I used is down below - and fussy cut it and adhered it on my tag. I added some highlights with my white Gelly Roll Pen and of course matching twine and some glitter ribbon this time.
The last tag was pretty easy as well. I used some DIY mists (I have a video on my channel explaining how I make them) in blues for my background and then I put the name on the tag with some Jillibean Soup Mini Alpha Stickers. I colored this cute bear from a stamp set from my stash with my alcohol markers - list of markers I used is down below. I fussy cut it, adhered it to my tag and added a sentiment. And of course matching twine and ribbon.
And that was everything from me today, well, actually it was quite a lot. I hope you liked it!

This was a not necessaryly quick layout, but most certainly a fun one! I added different lace washi tapes to my AC Vanilla Cardstock and then all I did is add tissue paper behind my photo, two craft scraps and a few embellishments. That was my quick - to explain at least LOL - layout for you, I hope you like it!
I made this quick and easy mini album, I just used a few patterned papers that I cut down to 6x12 inches, scored them at 6 inches so I have a 6x6 inch square mini album. I used my sewing machine to make the album an actual album and started embellishing.
Super easy - I hope you like it!
Here are a few pictures of my album:
