PAPERBASICS DT PROJECT #10 | MIXED MEDIA LAYOUT

Hi crafty peeps!

It’s Friday that means I have another DT project for Paperbasics for you today! This time I made a mixed media scrapbook layout for you.

This was a really fun layout to create! I wanted to use those two journaling cards from the Cupid cut-apart sheet from the Love Struck collection by We'R'Memory Keepers. I then decided to use the Cupid's Arrow paper as my background, I did gesso it a bit to prepare it for the mixed media.

I did use a few mists and my gelatos to create a fun and colorful background on the already busy paper.

I matted my picture on several papers with bright and bold colors and popped it up with some foam.

I adhered my picture as well as my two journaling cards and started to add a ton of embellishments.

I used washi, glitter hearts, tiny words that I fussy cut and a few random bits and pieces.

I did my journaling with a black gel pen - and yes I did make a mistake but that's ok LOL.

And that finished off my layout for today - it really is bright and bold but I love it!
