BREAK THE RULES MONDAY #6

Hi peeps!

Break the rules Monday is, where I take something that was not made for scrapbooking and make a layout with it!
I am posting a BTRM video every last Monday of the month!

For this months layout I am using a kitchen brush!

This is a fun one! As I mentioned in the video, a friend of mine was joking around and said I should use a toilet brush and see what I come up with! At first I was laughing, but it got me thinking... so I decided to get a kitchen brush instead (a brand new one of course!).

I squeezed out different shades of purple and pink on my art palette and brushed the paint on my background in a wavy motion.

After it was dry I decided to bust out my gilding paper that I have had for way to long - unused of course LOL - and I put some of it on my layout and I freaking love it!

I did embellish a bit with a few bits and pieces, my title is cut with the Silhouette and I added a few Tim Holtz tiny word stickers as well as a few metallic enamel dots.

And that finished off my layout - I love how it turned out, I hope you do too!

And because I had so much paint on my palette, I decided to put it in my art journal and I absolutely love how it looks!
