PAPERBASICS DT PROJECT #9 | BITRHDAY CARD

Hi crafty peeps!

It’s Friday that means I have another DT project for Paperbasics for you today! This time I made a birthday card for you.

You can watch the video on my YouTube channel PotsieFighter using this link, or you can simply watch it here on my blog.

I used a 6x12" piece of cardstock, scored it in half and made my cardbase. I put some gold washi tape on the edges so the gold peeks through.
I used a preprinted postcard with this rabbit and it was perfect since my niece - who is going to get this card - has 2 bunnies.

I used my Grafix watercolors for the coloring and my Yasutomo pearlesent watercolors for some gold splatters. I also added some detail with my Distress stickles in Worn Lipstick as well as Weathered Wood.

On the inside of my card I sponged some of the Dovecraft Pigment Ink in Copper to give it a bit of shine. I used a sticker from the Granddaughter sticker sheet from Echo Park and wrote 'Happy Birthday' with the alphas from the Love & Adore sticker sheet from Simple Stories.

I adhered my watercolored piece with some foamtape and added a few gold glitter hearts.

And that was my card for you today - I really hope you like it!

Thank you for joining me today, have a great day!
Stay tuned!
