PAPERBASICS DT PROJECT #5 | GIFT BOX

Hi crafty peeps!

it’s Friday that means I have another DT project for Paperbasics for you today! This time I made a cute little gift box for you.

You can watch the video on my YouTube channel PotsieFighter using this link, or you can simply watch it here on my blog.

I had to make a gift box for a friend I was looking through my DT stash and when I saw those gorgeous flowers - they are called Premium Gardenia in Chocolate & Peach (link is down below) - I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

So I took one of those cute paper boxes and decided to put on that ribbon that says 'Lots of Love' and I also used a tag from the Rock Pool 6.5" paper pad from Kaisercraft which I knew I would cover up 99% - LOL.

I started to adhere the paper flowers using double sided tape as well as 3D foam adhesive to give it a bit of dimension on some of the flowers.

After that I got out my Distress Stickles in Worn Liptstick and I started adding some of it too the flower petals and I absolutely love how this turned out!

When I thought I couldn't add more to that tiny box I saw the Epoxy Buttons 'Flowers' by Artemio and I went through them and put on quite a few because the colors matched perfectly.
I did put on the name of the recipient with my copper metallic brush pen and made a bow knot on the other side of the box with the ribbon.

And that finished off my cute little gift box - I hope you liked it as much as I do!
