Hi crafty peeps!
it’s Friday that means I have another DT project for Paperbasics for you today! This time I made a 12x12" scrapbook layout for you.
You can watch the video on my YouTube channel PotsieFighter using this link, or you can simply watch it here on my blog.
I decided to use the Cake Pops paper by Basic Grey's RSVP collection as my background and used gesso to prepare the page. Then I did the packaging technique with my watercolors using yellow and lime green.
I matted my picture on a mustard yellow paper and used foam to pop it up a bit.
I am not exactly sure how it happened but there was a blue smudge on my layout so I had to go with it. I had this teal striped branding strip laying on my desk so I decided to use it and adhered it to the left and right of my picture.
I embellished my layout with stickers from the Grandson and Granddaughter Sticker Accents from Echo Park as well as gold hearts I punched out of gold glitter cardstock.
As a finishing touch I splattered Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine to give it a bit of shimmer.
And that was my card for you today - I hope you enjoyed it!
