DIY EMBELLISHMENTS TUTORIAL

Hi peeps!

I have a tutorial video for making your own DIY embellishments for you today!

You can watch the video here on my blog, or you can use this link to be redirected to my YouTube channel PotsieFighter.

I will have the links to the haul videos I showed the products in linked in the text and down below I will have a supply list with picture links.

For these embellishments I decided to use the front page that comes in a paper pack for because I actually made that video because I wanted to make coordinating embellishments for a layout and I thought I would use the front page of the Capsule Geometric Moccha paper pack. And as I was starting I had so much fun that I sat there and made those cute little embellishments for over 2 hours - LOL. But you can use any scraps you have, of course you can also use new pieces of cardstock, you can do whatever your creative mind tells you to do. :)

I used all kinds of bits and bobs from my stash. But what I started with is my 1" circle paper punch and my star and heart paper punch. I just punched different shapes of all the patterns from the front page.
As my base more or less I used 'confetti pieces' I bought online. The circles come in white, a very pale pink and glitter gold. I also used some gold glitter stars I bought.
You can easy make those yourself if you have glitter cardstock and paper punches though - I will list supplies beneath.

As I was going on and on with adding tiny bits and bobs i really got creative and just plonked all the things on there, and I love every single one I made.

I used tiny word stickers from Tim Holtz and also some from Kesi'art Kiss My Neon Stickies N°. 14.

I also added tiny wood hearts and wood stars, as well as some arrows.

On some of the embellishments I used a black gel pen to accentuate either the cirlce or the embellishment cluster on the base.

I used some stickers from my stash, some hearts and studs I got from local stores. I also used a few stickers from an moustache sticker pack, some enamel dots, puffy stickers and diamond stickers as well.

I also used a few resin and acrylic pieces such as hears and bows. But you can really use anything you want. This is a great way to use up yout scraps and I had so much fun making these! :)

So this is my tutorial for you today, I hope you enjoyed it and I motivated you to try it out yourself!
