Welcome back to my channel! I have another card process video for you, and I know, it is a Fathers Day card but I still wanted to show you because you can simply change the sentiment and use it for another occasion. :)
You can watch the video here on my blog, or you can use this link to be redirected to my YouTube channel PotsieFighter.
I will have the links to the haul videos I showed the products in linked in the text and down below I will have a supply list with picture links.
This card was probably the hardest card I ever made, I had so many problems and ended up changing everything. But I love how the card turned out!
So I starded off by die cutting a semi circle from this bycilce paper from the Hipster Chique collection from Craft Sensations - which I didn't end up using. I also die cut the fathers day die from black craft paper - I backed that with double sided adhesive.
I had to fuss around with the die and also the die cut piece, it simply was not my day LOL.

there is no bakers twine on my card at this point, I added that later |
At that point now I had to go another way because I did not like how it looked although I like how it looks on camera, but as I had it in front of me I just didn't like it.
So I decided to use a bicycle stamp and the sentiment ' A true gentleman in every way' from the Kaisercraft Gentleman stamp set and stamped it on with Ranger black distress ink and it looked horrible, at that point I was already very frustrated LOL.
So I decided to put the sentiment on the embossed cardstock and fussy cut a few of the bicycles and just put them on the cardbase as well. And I was finally happy with that. :)
Off camera I did add a brown bakers twine bow because I felt like it needed a bit more. I also used my Sakura glitter Gelly Pen and traced the sentiment to give it a tiny bit sparkle.
As a sentiment on the inside I decided to stamp the 'A true gentleman in every way' with the Distress ink on the inside, but I failed again. So I took a piece of the bicycle paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it on there.
On the flap of my envelope I stamped 'To someone very special' with my Memento Tuxedo Black ink. And on the back of my card I used my Technique Tuesday Made with Love stamp set.
And that finishes off my card! I am not lying, this was a very hard card to make but I love how it turned out. But still I am not touching that Happy Fathers Day die ever again for a long time now, thank god it's Fathers Day only once a year. :D
