Welcome back to my blog. I have a 12x12 scrapbook layout share for you today. Unfortunately the footage got lost so there will be no video today but I thought I would share anyways.
I absolutely LOVE this layout! I had so much fun making it and I love the look of it.
To start off I used a white piece of craft cardstock that I treated with gesso first and I used my watercolor palette to to a very light blue ombre effect looking background.
I wanted to use my Echo Park Bark collection. So I matted this picture of my dog on 'Dog Border Strips' and on 'Puppy Stripe'. To give it a little bit of interest I ripped the bottom part of the paper.
I also used one of the stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet that says 'cold nose warm heart' which I am using as my title, and I added a few heart stickers from the sticker sheet as well.
I used those gorgeous snowflakes from my stash. I had them for years so I have no idea where they are from, these are felt snowflakes with a rhinestone in the middle and a pop dot on the back.
I wanted to add the date and where we were but I couldn't find a tag or a label I really wanted on my layout so I decided to use my metallic brush pen in blue to write it on myself.
The last thing I did, which unfortunately you can not see at all on the pictures, is that I used my pearlescent mist spray and sprayed it throughout my page so it looks all shimmery and shiny when you look at it in person. It really looks like snow and I love it!
So yeah, that's my layout share for you today. I hope you enjoyed and liked it!
